Aspen
is one of the last of the true believers in the old west. Growing up surrounded
by horses, cows, and countryside, she has been driven out by the ugly side
of man and knows first hand the problems that come with overcrowding and modernization
of the land. The songs on this album are a requiem to a land and a lifestyle
that is slowly slipping away before our eyes. Aspen
is not only dedicated to preserving what's left of the old west, but strives
to pass the legacy on to generations to come. After all, it is the children
who hold the future of our past in their hands. |
